Born August 22, 1942 in Copenhagen. Lives and works in the hills behind Piacenza in Northern Italy, and in the woods north of Copenhagen.
In his work NES LERPA has been inspired by Hans Øllgaard, André Masson, Phillip Martin and Emilio Vedova. Their friendship has been of great importance as well as his travels to Spain, France, England, Italy, Lappland, Morocco and India, where he stayed for long periods.
NES LERPA made his début in 1960, and since then his works have been exhibited in many European countries, in the U.S., in China and India.
